the 10 alley-oop plays a game that francis/mobley/cato would run and the heart that stevie franchsise played with in every game.
I agree. As frustrating as Francis was I always liked that fire that he brought. While I might be pulling my hair out about some stupid play he made the next moment my jaw would be on the floor over some amazing move he made followed by cheering for himwith all my might after watching him throw his body to hustle after the ball. While I think the current team has some passion I think on average they're too old. Last year's team had a lot of boneheads but they were relatively young and made up for a lot with energy.
This is a pointless thread. That being said, things I don't miss are: ** SF dribblemania ** SF turnovers ** Cato bricks ** Cat's shot selection ** Running down the 24 second clock ** A crummy assist/TO ratio ** SF technicals This team has a long way to go, but WHAT WAS OBVIOUS is that last year's team had a low ceiling. Changes had to be made and adding one superstar to go with a budding superstar, on the front end of their prime years, is a damn good start. More changes to come........and probably sooner rather than later. D R
Steve and Cuttino's energy. AS bad as they played at timed, those two spilted it ou every single night. I miss their intensity.
I don't know about you guys, but I am not going to deny I miss Francis. True he has shortcomings in his game. But he's also one of the few players in the league who are talented enough to take over a game all by themselves. I am glad we could get T-mac in return. I also believe the trade will be better for the Rockets team in the long run. But everytime a player in that calibre who had been a Rocket for five years leaves the team, you would feel uneasy about it. It's just human nature.
The record speaks for itself. If you don't think there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with the team right now you are delusional. Nothing wrong with liking the idea of having T-Mac and Yao on the team but if that team isn't doing squat then don't be so ridiculous as to not call it for what it is. The change certainly set us back and I would wager to bet that the setback is much worse than what even the Rockets organization expected. We are already 14 games into the season (almost 20% of the season) and looking terrible.
Yeah I agree with that, i think the difference is the Cuttino heart and the 40 minutes a game of cuttino, i miss Cat so much He was my favorite player.
dosn't really matter as long as he made up for it and got the win.if we were winning right now iam sure we wouldnt even be talking about this. sometimes you have to except the good with the bad.everyplayer has flaws I also see some in t mac as well.that don't mean you run the dude out of town.
