Even before the Draft Banchero was a clear Alpha with lower efficiency but he clearly had the package of elite strength, size, enough quickness, athleticism and decent skills plus passing.

Jabari only had a few of those things and a few deficiencies. He is tentative at times.

    Thouroughly disagree.

One of my biggest knocks on Murray was his ego - and his desire to showcase how 'ahead of the curve' he was. I felt he constantly overshared the way he and the org were thinking, and especially the way they evaluated prospects.

I think it was more that Jabari had a pretty good standing with the scouts and everyone projected him to be either Number 1 or Number 2.

We will need two stars down the road. So at 3, We draft for a potential star, and not for need. We are a lottery team. Not a playoff team. While I like a guy like Reed, this team needs more and 3 gives you a chance at more. We should only take Reed if he shows star potential on film. We need to pair someone with Green who can put a defense in the mixer.

That is what Play IN team means..... A team that is borderline lottery that has a mini chance at the lowest Playoff seeds.
