With the #44 pick in the upcoming draft, would you draft Jamal Shead or Zach Edey (if they both are still on the board)???
Jamal Shead seems to be a Udoka type of player: great defender, not ball-dominant, played great in the big moment, but perimeter shooting is not great for him to be playing mostly off the ball.
Zach Edey was dominant in the paint, great touch around the rim, but struggled with other big men/capable Centers who were able to bang with him...defense when get switched out to guards in the NBA will make him a liability on defense
I like both players as an option to draft in the 2nd round! In addition, I'm passing on Bronny James - he's not ready and only getting spotlight because of daddy privilege

Edey will be gone before the 20th pick.

One more name: Juan Nuñez, from Spain. Last summer he played great for the national team, and this season he played very well in the german league. He is a pass first point guard who can be a very good back up in the nba

Yeah, Edey won't be there. All that 2nd round hype around him was ridiculous.

You can get Shead easily, but Edey is going early man.

Edey is probably gone by 15. Rockets gonna have to move some assets to make a jump to get him.

Edey tested well for his size and showed range at the combine.
He will go before the 2nd

Edey tested better than Clingan in every agility test, and in verticals, and in length....

I’d be pretty excited if we can get Dante at 44. I don’t think Edey is worth a first round pick, but he won’t last to 44.

Don't know where he ranks, but I freaking love Shead. A floor general with tremendous willpower. When he went down in the tourney, it was like a team lobotomy.

Adem Bona. If he's there sprint to the podium.

I would really like Shead at that pick.

On the surface his game seem grossly lacking for the NBA, but I think he's just a ballplayer. If he can develop a consistent 3 that has to be respected he will be a great rotation player. He's exactly the type of guy I would like to take there instead of one of the dozens of higher upside, but likely scrubs.

He has to develop the 3 though, him playing in the league is an absolute no go without it.

I think this draft has some quality bigs. Honestly this draft doesn't seem as bad as 2020 the more I look at it. The top talent is underwhelming for sure but it seems pretty deep with lots of guys who look like they can have long careers in the NBA.

    100%

If Bona's there in the 2nd it's a no brainer. Talk about an Ime type of player. Robert Williams was a big part in his system. Adem is very similar. Could be better in a few. Not just measurements (RW 6'9 / 7'6 AB 6'10 / 7'4), but in their game. Personally I'd trade up for him in the 2nd.

Oh AND he's an ex teammate of Sengun's in Turkey.
