I don’t think I’ve seen something this definitive in awhile. Edwards was +5 in 45 minutes. That means they were -13 in the 3 minutes he sat.
Great point! Per the play-by-play from ESPN.com, Ant left the game twice: From the start of the 2nd quarter to 9:39, Nuggets went from a 29-24 lead to 41-26. A 10-point swing in just 2:21. From 8:26 in the 4th quarter to 8:07, Nuggets went from 98-87 to 101-88. A 2-point swing in 0:19. T-Wolves were -12 in the 2:40 he was off the floor and +5 during his 45:20 played. (Not sure where the missing +/- point is). Another big story was the Nuggets bench cooked the T-Wolves bench. Justin Holiday was found money, Braun had his best game of the playoffs and somehow 34 year-old RJ dropped 6/2/3 and was +8 in his 9 mins while Murray rested. On the other side, Kyle Anderson was -18 in just 6 mins, NAW was 1/7 and -20 in 24 mins. In game 5, T-Wolves will obviously try to get other players in the groove early in the game (esp KAT) so they will be worth a dime later on. They should also consider dropping Anderson and going with a 7-man rotation unless there is garbage time.
Considering Minnesota hasn’t won a championship in Men’s sports since 1991 they are feeling pretty uneasy. It’s a lot like how Clutchfans will go from planning on hoisting another championship banner to deep despair.
This series is almost completely dependent on how the Refs call the games Rough and Tumble. . . Nuggets come up a bit soft Technical and finesse. . . . Wolves don't have enough talent If you want to know who wins the next game See who the ref is and how quickly someone gets 2 fouls Rocket River
last game murray was the one that got 2 quick fouls, and jokic got take out with 4 fouls middle of quarter 3
The refs ALWAYS work against the team you root for. If you switched your allegiance in the middle of the game, they'd immediately change side.
Why the hell is this game coming on at 8:30 in Denver and 9:30 in Minnesota? So sick of the league bending over backwards to give the big markets their ideal start times
