Sheppard. Get a great shooting SG on offense and a PG pest (ala Pbev) on defense.
Pair him with Amen, who is a great passing PG on offense and a great length defender, and you have a nice backcourt. Trade Jalen G for future picks and let Cam develop as SG or SF of future.

History tells us that no one knows who will be stars and who will be flops. This draft will likely have both stars and flops.

I think Clingan at 3 is a decent option.

Rissacher and Sarr have been mocked 1 and 2 for quite a while.

The rest of the lottery slides up and down. Currently a lot of noise about Clingan at 3, but Dillingham could go there.
At this stage we could possibly flip back for Sheppard if that is the way we wanted to go, but depends whether anyone wants to move up.

I predict a lot of movement in draft big boards between now and draft day anyhow.

It wouldn't be moved alone. We have plenty of ammo.

    I don't want Reed Sheppard.

We don't need another 19 - 21 year old here.

Tons of value to apply towards what we want.

If we draft another kid that can't shoot, I'm going to lose it.

That's the point. If it's like 2013 where we're all just so clueless and the best players end up being at 15 (Giannis) and 27 (Gobert) then there's no value in a high pick cause it's all just completely random and every single player is exactly a lottery ticket. A normal draft would at least have a few sure to highly likely chances up top.

Force is strong with Brooklyn’s traded picks so I’ll keep it

yeah sheppard is defo the guy. Why can’t we get lucky with a KY guard for once, like every other team (SGA, Booker, Maxey, J.Murray, etc…)?

Get him some of Aaron Holiday’s minutes at first and see if he grow into something more.

We need shooting. Sheppard might prove to be the best of them. That doesn't mean he should be selected at 3. He's more like a 8 or 9 player.
Ron Holland can't shoot, but his defense, height, lateral quickness and most importantly his high motor can be helpful for us.

3 point shooting can be addressed by trading Brooks plus one of the remaining Nets pick.

Tankathon has Clingan as Houston's potential selection at 3. I don't think Stone will do that.

Where would Jaquez go last year if they knew how he would deliver?

    Top 5?

    That's kind of the point....

No Wemby in this draft, but definitely Jaquez level players and better

Yet he is rumored to be joining 76ers, Miami, why not Houston?

Even predraft Jaquez. He was 6'6 226 lbs. Pac 12 player of the year averaging 19 8 2. Only knock was that he's old but Knect is even older and much less accomplished looking at top 10.

Obviously hindsight helps even more but I was talking about redraft Jaquez. Nobody interesting in this draft has any accolades it's just a casino.

I'm not married to any pick, I just think if you take Clingan, you have to move on from Sengun....the team's best player. Now does that actually make the team any better? I'd argue probably not.

Risacher is another pick that I'd be happy with, guy can shoot, and can be a plus size SF and insurance for Tari.
