Everyone's situation is different, but I usually agree. We decided to buy it for $30 because after two tickets, a babysitter, drinks at Alamo, etc. it would've been more expensive to see it once and deal with annoying people in the theater.

Wait...so they had a lot of Christopher Walken dialogue in the trailers but he was hardly in the film? We can sue for refunds over that!

I enjoyed it. Thought it was equally as good as the first one. Has a lot of depth to it, so it's a good re-watch. Seen it four times now.

It was a really good movie, not great though. Thoroughly enjoyed it but don't get the all time hype for it.

    Yup

Walken walked the walk and his talken talked the talk.

    Underused greatly tho
A good blockbuster Sci Fi movie is rare.

Esp one that doesn't rip off star wars tropes and was faithful to a book that's hard to adapt

The word "trope" is the most tiresome lame ripped-off word in the whole "movie talking guy" dictionary.

    "Zeitgeist" is 2nd.

If it describes marvel movies or star wars movies easily then I'm using it. I treat it the same as meme

I'm all ears if you have other cool alternatives

I liked the movie overall but wasn’t that much impressed with Christopher Walken. He played exactly as you expect Christopher Walken but as such I think lacked the gravitas for the role of Emperor of the Galaxy.

Just finished Dune II after re-watching Dune (because I forgot the entire plot).

It was very good but not great. The production was top notch.

By the time Dune III comes out in 4-5 years, I won't care anymore.
