Even tho Nuggets haven’t actually won this game yet, it feels like the Wolves aren’t winning another game.
Is it just me, or do most games on ESPN not feel like playoff games? Especially when it’s the B or C team calling the game the crowd noise is turned down on the broadcast, and teams look like they’re giving regular season energy
There was no possible way denver would be as bad as they were in game 2. Even if murray is limited and they're not as good as last year, they're still pretty damn good. Glad they responded today
Finally this year's Nuggets were as good as last year's Nuggets. Can they (Murray) keep it up? Was game 2 the peak of the playoffs for the T-Wolves? Even if the answer is yes, that doesn't mean they won't win this series. Game 4 will tell us a lot about both teams. Decent chance it decides the series IMO.
Denver as a whole looked a lot more comfortable on offense against the defense, took things slower. Didn't get the impression that the refs were getting the Nuggets that W.
wait so who are the good guys again in this series? are we rooting for ant or yokich? i need to know so i know what to say with my friends
The Metal of a championship team is tested by the Refs Esp on the NBA doesn't really want They have to survive a couple of losses due to Refs That is what killed the Rockets and the 2002 Kings They let the Refs killing them in one game make them defeatist enough to lose the next one Rocket River
It'll be interesting to see how Minny responds in game 4. For one, Minny was shellshocked that they couldn't be as physical in game 3 as they were in games 1 and 2. All those fouls called at the beginning really had 'em shook and they couldn't adjust on the fly. Murray finally woke up and those boos from the Minny crowd definitely fueled him...but he DID have about 3-4 days in between games 2 and 3, as opposed to the 1 day he's having right now, between games 3 and 4. That calf is still an issue. Who knows if he'll look like inefficient Murray or playoff Murray, for game 4. A positive for Denver tho: Jokic had a really slow start in game 3 and was missing for the first half, essentially. He woke up in the second half tho - hopefully for Denver fans, Jokic is now woken up.
Some of my Minnesota friends think the game was rigged by not suspending Murray. I predicted Twolves in 7 and am standing by that
I’m rooting for the Rockets in the alternate universe where they are in the playoffs. Go MULTIVERSE! on a side note the bass player in my band is from Denver and he played a show last night before the game wearing a Nuggets T-shirt in Minneapolis. He got a few boos.
