Certainly the best looking set of names we've sent out for a series. We've got our top 4 all available, and the schedule is very soft the next month. If we're making a move this season this is the time to do it, simply treading water won't cut it.
Okay. I would like to see 2 out of 3 with the Astros competitive in the loss as well. SP throw 17+ innings and each give up 3 or fewer runs. Offense score at least 16 runs with no fewer than 4 in any one. All 9 position spots make positive contributions. Too much?
Cool!…..an easy opponent!……checks standings and sees The Tigers have a significantly better record than The Astros as does 90% of The MLB……
The Baseball Gods aren't playing dice with us. Even if Espada has to pull out Sheldon's high school physics notebook to solve the problem, the time is now.
All I ask is 2 out of three, if we do that the glimmer of light will shine through again and I can be happy watching my Stros. Seriously, IMO if we don't do it now and start some huge winning streaks were done for. I believe we can do this, but it HAS to start NOW
This team has to know that it must occasionally win here and there if they really want to drive the knife all the way through our hearts as fans. Losing too much too early and i'm just not gonna give a **** lol.
I'll settle for an opponent that probably isn't going to make the playoffs this year. Seems like we've only had one or two of those so far this season.
