The offense is struggling because they don't believe in the pitching staff to hold any leads. So, the offense is putting extra pressure on themselves to try to make up for the pitching staff's shortcomings and failures by doing more and it's clearly not working because added pressure means worse at-bats. Just a theory.
It’s doable… we can’t have any long winning streaks, God forbid something like that happened. But yeah… I think we can get to 108. How amazing would that be!
