Brief Summary: Brunson was brilliant. It's impossible to not like him. Halliburton completely disappeared and played like a weakfish who was in over his head. The moment was clearly too much for him. IMO, he's the donkey you can pin this loss on. Literally everyone else on the Pacers played well while he watched like a spectator. The 3 'Nova guys scored 93 of the Knicks 121 points, offsetting a historically pathetic bench performance of just 3 points. It's a travesty the refs called the moving pick up Turner. It tarnished the result for me even though I want the Knicks to win the series (because they would challenge the Celtics more).
It's funny how people view certain players who's primary game is trying to draw bullshit fouls (brunson, giannis) but then also hate other guys like embiid and harden
Bad a calls all the way around. Brunson's feet were on the ground when the ball bounced off haliburton and hit him. Should have been Knicks ball. Pacers have a better team. If they reay want to win they are going to have to blow them out. All Thibs teams do is grind.
I remember the reactions when Dame first went to the Bucks, all anyone had seen from him were highlights as most of the country was asleep when Portland played. They were shocked to learn that his game is chucking contested 3s, drawing fouls, and not playing defense.
