HELL NO! normalize 22-30 minute run times. those 45 to an hour episodes are all fluff. Get in and get out.

Bishop probably landed in another time by accident. They said the One Man's Worth episode has to do with this arc. Which was loosely based on AoA and kind of a terrible episode IMO.

From what I've read, Age of Apocalypse was actually inspired by the story from the animated series (although the animated episodes were completed and aired after the comics were released).

Bastion's parents were lifted from One Man's Worth.

Peak X-Men yall. Too bad the dude they fired was because of his OF account...

At least they got most of S2 in the can.

If netflix was smart, they'd let him run a crew that can live with his "toxic" behavior. As long as he's not a psycho or creep, then i dgaf if he walks into work daily with a maga hat.

Git it dun. Make TV Great Again.

    Leave them wanting more.

Maybe Invincible sank the budget putting Oscar winners/noms on the voice acting staff.

The Nightcrawler teleport POV was sick but couldn't find that one.

Thank you very much for recommending this series. It was amazing!

I completely agree. This show was so good but it took the concept of "no filler" to an extreme. Maybe that's why it was so great. But I wish there was more. I don't mind filler if it's entertaining.

they should just make invincible 22-30 minutes. instead of making it an hour for no reason.

I don't think the episodes need to be longer, but a longer season was definitely necessary.

We are moving at lightning speed through some serious stories.

And Xmen would benefit from some "filler" material. Filler in a superhero cartoon isn't just episodes of pointless talking that don't matter.

People remarking we need more filler are crazy. I'm ok with that jubilee episode but that was def filler where the longer arc could've been padded into other episodes per the requested filler.

Maybe the streaming age has trained yall to park your butts for hours, catch up on insta and cf shitposts while the "filler" is playing in the background.

    This is pure uncut nostalgia.

Be careful what you wish for, or just watch other series where the filler is plenty and the nostalgia is a cynical cashgrab.

You could just stop watching every 20 mins with a timer. :D

I run invincible at 1.5x speed. I'm not joking. it feels like it is running at a normal speed it's that slow and full of fluff. i still like invincible, but they are def just stretching it for no reason.

I started reading the comic. It seems like they're mostly following the story with some continuity changes for pacing (ironic).

I binged the first 7 episodes last weekend, liked the first few mainly because of the nostalgia factor but that 5th episode really kicked it up a notch. Looking forward to seeing how this season wraps up.....

That's kind of the thing for me
I don't need longer episodes just more of them
some of the stories need to fleshed out and allowed to breathe more
Life/Death - That was a very important arc for Storm and these episodes did not do it justice
MoJo is a bigger thing with some better characters in it
I'm not so much mad as greedy i guess
