OTAs and minicamps are fine, but with the draft being over, the long NFL draught period has started.

We now have to wait ~2 1/2 months before training camp begins.

I hate the long wait from when football ends and begins. It's by far my favorite sport. It's the only sport I never want to miss a minute of. I can't say that about any other sport.

Him & Jerry Rice always jumped out to me about why you couldn't always go by timed 40s

Some people just play faster in football gear... (shoulder shrug)

What's the old adage?... something like "you RARELY run in a straight line in football"

Foster always reminded me of Marcus Allen, who also wasn't blazing fast - but was so fluid with such incredible vision.

His peak was much too short - but Arian Foster is the second greatest Houston running back, behind Earl Campbell. He was sooo good.

He hurt his hammy is why he ran so slow. It's why he was an UDFA.

With their schedule, I'll take it no questions asked. Hopefully they're healthy come playoff time if they have this record. If they are healthy, I'll take my chances on them making the SB.

They've got depth everywhere on the team except LB.

    Vet minimum.

If I was a team like Miami it would be worth a shot.

Absolutely to compete for the 4th spot. After Diggs, Tank, and Nico I have zero confidence in the rest of the wrs. Training camp invite wouldn’t hurt at all.

    Yup
It has to be like that so they can recover from a human car crash sport where at least a mild concussion happens each game

The players love (and really need) this break, only bad thing is becoming stagnant, its only so much workout you can do until the real deal needs to happen

Football hits diff. than other sports, literally

I wouldn't at this point. I think he's demonstrated over his career how brittle he is. That doesn't get better with age. I know you could argue a training camp invite doesn't hurt anything, but it might if he manages to stay healthy through training camp, and then you have to decide to keep him on the roster versus someone else that might stay healthy.
