I felt the same way. The more I listened the more I loved it. He sings from his soul, and found a way to take that pain and suffering he experienced into songwriting and music from the age of 7. He's an old soul, with a gift. That song was powerful, and yeah, it was live. It actually had me tearing up. Honestly, I liked him singing his own songs a lot more than when they have them sing other people's music. I have no doubt he will be the real deal one day. He's a great guitar player as well.
