Dame was supposed to be the insurance policy in case Giannis was down.

It’s crazy how things work out. Nobody has it easy healthwise or rigged-wise.

When it comes to manipulation and coach-killing, I would not put KD in the same class with Harden, Dwight and Giannis. Far more than those guys, he's still mostly about basketball on the court. He has also been far more coachable than Dwight or Harden.

If only he had gone to Boston instead of Golden State.

Sure but I'm just talking about players letting ego go to their head and thinking they can do anything they want and still win.

What you said went beyond that. Besides, I don't agree with you KD has an ego problem. I agree with those who relish pointing out he hasn't won a championship outside of Golden State, but his issues on the Thunder, Nets and Suns weren't about ego.

He doesn't belong with the guys you mentioned. Period. Not every failure of a star player has to do with ego.

Ego doesn't just mean on the court, it's with him trying to be LeGm 2.0 and building his own team.

What's he done to make you say that? I sure hope you have a lot more than just teaming up with Kyrie on the Nets.

When he got traded to the Nets didn't he want Russell traded too cuz so he doesn't look bad?

He was the one who pushed for and ok'd the Harden trade. Gave his blessing to the Beal trade. Also said multiple times he didn't believe in off ball plays like GSW has.

    Beta behaviorism.

KD's main issue is not playing GM but his insecurity as a man when the public was shaming him that he cannot win without Curry so he has committed himself to jump from one Super team to another to prove himself without mercy.

He will never be as cool as LBJ or Curry who would just shake off losing like it's nothing and don't care about the public views.

    KD doesn't stand on business
    He blows in the wind
He allowed Kyrie to dictate things to him
If the reports are true .. . he didn't like how Phoenix ran things but said nothing
    He need to speak up .. . man up .. . . .
He wants the accolades but not the responsibility

What if Tatum had gone to GS instead?

Just a hypothetical to say if GS hadn't landed Durant, they may have landed someone else equal or worse.

Basically impossible because Tatum was a #3 draft pick and the Warriors were the Warriors.

Anyone even watching this tonight? Can't believe no Lillard or Giannis.
