I know it’s minor (thank god) in terms of it’s not life threatening but is he football ok ?? No details at all right now…

 

I hesitate to even share this, but a friend of mine who is a police officer's reaction to this was "not surprised" and stated that Tank is a known gang member... I don't buy it, but apparently there is that belief at least in the law enforcement community.

I’m about as free will as it gets. As long as it’s not affecting others, do what makes you happy.
But……I tell all my athletes/coaches to weigh the benefits. Short term fun vs long term stability. Lots of young kids, specially with money think they’re invincible. A lot of times they’re the ones in trouble/broke/out of their respective sports early.
Good family structure and support systems are important.
Hope Tank uses this is a lesson. Have fun, but be around the right crowds and people.

 

Tank's future is so bright...young, gifted, and the opportunity to earn generational wealth. This could have been devastating, these young players have got to wise up and think about their future. It's hard to resist the night life but he has too much at stake. He has to avoid the "3 stupids."

I’ve had too many stupid drunken nights on 6th street prior to the age of 25 where I woke up the next day to a news story that there had been a shooting near where I had been to judge.

 

Tank in the white shirt. Legit thought he pulled a gun at first glance, but police confirmed he pulled out his phone to record the fight. Wild.

 

Hold on now... the majority of cops do not think ALL black people are criminals -- that's an overstatement. But policemen have an extremely high frequency of interactions with black males between the ages of say 15-30 -- and those experiences naturally have an impact on their perspective. Cause and effect -- like any human being processing information and making decisions. Wish it weren't the case, but it is.

 

And here I was thinking that a bunch of Amish kids were responsible for the shooting.
