He had 3 years to show it and never did. Hate to say it because I’m rooting for him, but he was definitely a reach. I hope they’re right and can help him progress quickly.
The broadcasters are so far out of the loop they actually said Houston want Tytus to move to LG. Just WOW!. He is depth and immediate replacement for Fant or long term for Howard or Tunsil. So far, the draft does not excite me like Free Agency. I'm beginning to think there might be something to Xavien Howard's interest in playing for the Texans if we don't improve our draft.
Don't know much about the 2 guys drafted but since I'm back on the Texans bandwagon for this 1st time since 2013, I'll just wait and see.. Shole would've liked to traded up and grabbed one of them DTs though.. sigh
Thats what the guys on B/R were saying. He started in front of Alt his freshman(?) year but got injured and Alt took over, but Alt excelled and Fisher didnt.
Folks get mad at GM not trading up (when it takes 2 to tango) - and we also don’t know the asking price
After watching how the draft has developed, and the wild run of OT, he would not have been there in the 3rd round. If the Texans really liked him, they got him at the right spot. Texans show that protecting Stroud is high on the priority list with the Blake Fisher pick.
But can he play it better than Howard? I think it's likely we have less injury on the OL than last year.
