He's the oldest player in the league. It's a testament to his greatness people expect him to still be a focal point. Imagine expecting Jeff Green to carry the team to the playoffs. And I believe LeBron is 2 yrs older lol. But to be fair the only reason LeBron keeps losing is because Jokic is so godly. If they were up against any other team in the West they wouldn't get destroyed this badly.
Who cares man LeBron is still playing yr 21, you acting like he is in his prime. Him getting a turnover is still 1000x better than other players who couldn't last this long and have to be announcers/commentators instead. I consider everything he is doing now to be a bonus round considering how old he is and how long he has been grinding without any breaks. It's an accomplishment that will be hard to match considering how injury prone players seem to be today.
Pick one... Is he too old to criticize? Or... Is he still a top 5-15 player? Right now the announcers and media believe both are true.
He's not a closer, leader, etc. but he's still an incredible talent and did his job well tonight. Top 75... meh, he has impressive stats, basic and analytics. Was statistically the most impactful player on the bubble title team. Which suits him.
Jordan was 40ish in his last season - older than LeBron today. Played 82 games. Lots of minutes. But nobody thought he was a top player in the league. And he wasn't.
He's not a leader. He's similar to Durant in that they are both generational talents, but for whatever reason they just aren't interested in leadership.
