Ant is a case study why it's so hard to predict how wing players will perform in the NBA. Ant was a total chucker in college, shot 40% from the field and 29% from 3. Also had only 2.8 AST to 2.7 turnovers. In his interview process he said so many insane ****, he was cocky and arrogant AF he said he was already better than DWade, he had other options besides basketball, he wasn't into basketball, it feels like work to him etc Honestly when he was drafted I thought he would be the worst player among the top 3. It's crazy how good he has become so soon in his career.

If you compared Ant as a prospect to players like Jalen Green or Moses Moody I'm sure those other guys would be taken over him. Maybe they all have ability but its their maturity and work ethic that makes all the difference once they get drafted.

This game was a pleasant surprise but still not holding out hope. Seen too many MN teams blow it in the playoffs

I predicted Suns in 7. I’m not rooting for the Suns and would love to be wrong but a lot of even MN sports pundits think the Suns win.

The main reasons are regular season matchups, playoff experience, the Suns are a fast team, and Timberwolves / Minnesota sports history.

Yesterdays action went according to my expectations except this one. I didn't expect the Wolves to win this big or perhaps, not win at all.

There is a lot of hope here in Mn after the blowout win. It’s very important that the Wolves win and hold home court.

It’s still a big question whether this team is unlike every other Twolves team other than the 2004 team and can actually win a series.

I always knew he was the right one. He said dumb stuff but it was always in a funny tone. It sounds like you're describing Lamelo.

Ant talks like Kobe would if Kobe were unintelligent and from a ghetto background. Basically, Ant possesses Kobe's swagger and confidence but lacks his intellect and professional demeanor.

Most definitely. It's up to them and depends on their maturity. In a 48 min game, no way the Suns should beat them unless Booker can't miss and goes off for 40-points or something like that.

He is one of those guys who is actually competitive as f*** even though he says a lot of goofy stuff off the court--like Jimmy Butler. You're right though, scouting is hard.

Phoenix . . .I never worry about their offense
but that has left them for a few minutes now

There defense was always gonna be their downfall

They look like a superteam on paper but they don't have the defensive supporting cast you need to win a championship. Should be a lesson for us on not undervaluing guys like Jabari, Tari, and perhaps Amen (if he never learns to shoot).

Historically, if your team can't play defense you don't get far in the playoffs.

You wonder where some of these teams will go.

This series…Suns went all in, for a first round exit?
    Father Time is ticking Lebron
Clippers/Mavs loser, all in, for a first round exit?
Cavs are up but Donovan Mitchell FA is looming
Sixers have to be wondering can we, will we ever win with Embiid? (Or maybe will he ever stay healthy, be healthy in the playoffs?) They will have cap space this summer.

They should be able to use his length right?
