Thanks for nothing Mccormick and Abreu. I guess even if Mccormick walked, if it played out the same, that Abreu would have been a double play?

Abreu needs to go back to taking whatever steroids he was using in Chicago.

At this point Abreu is what he is. Chas is the one I'm pissed at swinging at absolute garbage

This one is squarely on Espada.
A chance to break the game open with runners on and you let Abreu hit?

Sorry, but my remaining confidence in him just went down the toilet.

He had traffic in the first few innings but Blanco pitched a great game

Dude just dared Abreu to hit his fastball. Of course we all knew how that would work out.

Maybe it's time for Dubon to take Chas' spot and play Meyers in center

Agreed. Espada **** the bed as much as anyone with that decision.

Bregman is possibly the best batter to have in front of Abreu since it will force him to be aggressive but he won't be stupid about it when he sees himself as the last hope

I don't think it was his decision... he was routinely hitting for him as of late until "back of the baseball card" mantra

I'm wondering that myself. It defies all logic otherwise.

Yeah, I gave Espada more patience than the majority of this board but it’s running thin now too.

My only hope is by continuing letting him fail in big situations like this, hopefully management will make a move sooner.

They couldn't give Montstrikeout that call? Been giving free strikes to their pitchers

The Montero revival has been nice.
