naw. matchups are a real thing.

Rockets probably win against the kings if they make the play-in.

Short-handed Kings emptied their gun against a rival they passionately wanted to beat and didn't have the same juice tonight.

Vezenkov aka Euroleague MVP with 2 pts on 25% shooting in 10 mins of play.

Don't give me bullshit how NBA isn't the no 1 league in the world and how the NBA champ isn't the world champ.

Theres a reason there isn't an "NBA vs other leagues" competition, they would all get murdered, eviscerated dumped on, and thrown away like yesterday's trash just like the Euroleague MVP. If the best player in the 2nd best league in the world is just a role player scrub in the NBA what exactly are we arguing here?

Lol again it is not about who is superior but the naming of this has to be officially recognized by all the Nations......

That is how Politics works........and World Cup still holds that World Cup Champion or World Champion Name.

Wrong thread to work your World Cup Basketball Magic, dude.

Not every nation is in the world cup so your argument is flawed already. Every nation agrees the NBA is the best league in the world and Vezenkov just proved it.

Of course it is who is superior ever heard of a world champ who gets owned by another team? What kind of world champ is not the strongest team in the world? NBA wins by default Vezenkov just proved it.

Vezenkov isn't a nobody he is the Euro MVP. He is the best of the rest. If the NBA reduced the best of the rest to a total noob replacement level player anybody who thinks the world champion isn't in the NBA is just a total joke.

What's the counter argument to this? The tournament has the word "World" in it? So if some tournament had the wod "universe" the champion there would be the champion of the universe even if they are a bunch of guys in the community college? Lmao what a dumb argument.

The champion of the world cup is just that, the world cup champion. The world champion is the strongest team in the world, aka the NBA champion.

Is it just me or are the Kings the Bulls of the West? Not just because they were both 9th seeds and yes they're a much better team than the Bulls. But, I mean their relative position in the conference. When healthy each teams best guys just aren't elite in their conference.

The other teams in the West have 1 or more elite players, they're a young developing team, or they're an aging team that has some hope of getting big performances from guys that have proven something in the past.

The Kings are just kinda in the middle. They'll beat some younger teams that haven't figured it out and they'll beat some past prime teams. But they really have no chance against a real contender as currently constructed, even with the injured role players back and healthy. And, the big problem is Sabonis and Fox aren't pups any more. You're not gonna get some big career leap that shakes up the league, they are who they are.
