Dubon should be at 1B and Meyers in CF with a lefty starting for them. Better offensively without question and IMO is better defensively. Just don’t get it man.

It’s been nearly seven years in an Astros uniform, but I still sort of marvel at a pitcher of Verlander’s caliber taking the mound in an Astros uniform. Didn’t get to see Ryan pitch as an Astro. Watching Verlander (like Johnson and Clemens before ) always feels kind of historical. He’ll go down as one of the best pitchers of all time and we got to see some of his best years: two Cy Youngs and two world championships.

 

they need a 15 games winning streak to have the fans somewhat confident about this team. so far, not a lot of things are clicking.

There’s a lot of things I’m worried about regarding this team right now…this is absolutely not one of them. He’s got an OPS above .900 while “struggling”.

 

i expect jesse winker and eddie rosario to be pests in this series.
