Looking to finish up school, but I need to work from home. I can do administrative, data entry or AWS cloud support. Any leads, contacts or suggestions would help.

How's your LinkedIn doing? What are you currently doing for work now?

Everyone wants a remote job out of the gate, but hard to find something so soon like that. It's not impossible. What's your degree going to be in?

You can DM me if you like as well. You'll probably get a lot of flak on here, lol. Or can reply in here. Either way.

I have a position, but it's not remote. Must be willing to dine with Mexican industrialists.

I think alot of Call Center/IT Helpdesk do remote.
I think the Rate can vary from like 13-22 on the entry level in.

Nothing jumps out right now but I have seen some on Indeed/LinkedN/etc

Be wary of some remote / 'make your own schedule' jobs posted on Indeed. If you've never heard of the company before and can't find much about it in a Google search, there's a decent chance it's some sort of scam or at the very least a massive waste of time.

I looked into getting one of those as a night/side gig where I could do 2-3 hours of work at night to make a few bucks when I felt like it, but the more closely I looked, the fishier everything seemed.

Remote jobs are kind of a shitshow if you're starting out.

In terms of mileage, I imagine you'd get .5x the experience if you don't know how work environments are supposed to be like.

My wife applied to over 1k remote jobs after graduating with a bachelor's degree in 2022, nationwide & international. She only got about 20 interviews from that (more contacted her but many were trying to offer hybrid instead of complete remote), of those only 5 made offers, of those only 2 offered a skilled labor salary level, and of those 2 one offered great money, and that's the one she took.

It took 1k+ applications to find a single great offer, you're going to have to cast a wider net than Clutchfans/friends and family. Put some time into making your resume nice, then get on Indeed/ZipRecruiter and start spamming applications, the great thing about remote work is the pool is huge since you aren't limited to local jobs.
