Reminds me of the Texas Rangers or Clippers alternates. Not a fan of old english. Also has the hazy outlined look like its spray painted on or something.
Woof. Not a fan of that. Hopefully it’ll look better when worn with the “H-Town” uniforms. I knew they were gonna roll with the Old English font “H” stuff that they’ve been teasing the past year. They just couldn’t help themselves unfortunately.
I don’t necessarily hate it but they bragged about being the most fan-inclusive, … who decided on the font? (Both the old one and this one on the helmet.) That’s not a good font for uniforms/merchandise Spoiler Astros have an iconic H (H + star). If they’re smart, they’ll never change it.
Not a fan of that at all..didn't think it could get worse than the other gothic script. Would have have had the H with the diamonds on the end. Woof. That's bad. Maybe it'll look better with the jerseys?!?
Another question... I've seen interpretations of the new "shell" rules that say that if you simply change stickers, it may not count as a new (one of the three) shells. Could this be a fourth helmet, by any chance? Hoping when we see the new color rushes (which will supposedly be all the color of the helmet, with H Town Blue numbers and maybe red outline), that these will look better.
Merch with that H is going to FLY off the shelves, I promise you. The franchise is going to make a killing off this. There is a large demographic that is into this kind of style.
Yo, check the logo on the back of the helmet. It's dope. Wish it were the main logo and the main thing on the helmet. Look to the right of the American flag at the 2 second mark. The three people in that video are getting fired. The Texans will know who they are. I wish this was put out by Cal in order to dupe fans, and the actual helmet had that logo on it. Would be a classic move.
