Beavis: "astros suck!" Butthead: "umm....yea...yea...yea!" Beavis: "but, we don't know each other and are just here to learn about AI!" Butthead: "yea...yea...total stranger! AI! AI! AI! AI!"
If you look at every player who has contributed to losses, you can find some hope for every one of them but Jose Abreu. The starting pitching will return from injury Bryan Abreu. Pressly, and Hader have been dominant in the recent past and no reason they can't recapture it. Bregman always starts slow and always turns it around. Jose Abreu. . .
I expected the window to close in the next 2-3 years, but I guess this year is a real possibility? Wtf is going on. I know the Astros have given up the most runs. But 12 out of 20 games so far scoring 3 runs or less just isn't good enough for how deep the lineup is supposed to be.
Could you provide any reasons you might think they haven't signed Belt yet? He seems like a great option languishing in our backyard.
This organization has lost it's way and we're seeing the results. It was starting to show last year but they managed to still make it to the ALCS again. They are currently looking like a team that may not even make the playoffs, even in a sorry AL West. Leadership has been questioned more and more and there just seems to be no real direction right now. I agree a change needs to occur to shake up things because this isn't working.
Those are certainly NOT answers to what ails us unless they are going to drive in a run after the 7th inning or come in relief and shut down the opponent
Just to clarify, Brown is the one who's been saying that most often. I don't know if he got it from Crane though. Brown also seems to want to blame teh hard schedule. F that, we're supposed just as good or better than all of the teams we've played thusfar.
Blaming on tough schedule is lame AF. They’re professional and make a **** load of money to play the game. They should be competing every night instead, they’re becoming a laughingstock in this city.
