Never forgotten. Clarence Weatherspoon. Bonzi Wells. Bobby Jackson. Rick Brunson. Richie Frahm. David Wesley. Mike James. Bob Sura. Mike Harris.
I really liked Kevin Martin. Miscast as a top option on the Kings and Rockets. Probably would have worked out much better for teams he played for if he were a 2B or 3A option.
K Mart was like James Harden-lite. Obviously nowhere close to as prolific of a passer but for James’ first 4-5 years they had similar games — eg Harden used to come off a lot of screens for mid range and Martin was an OG when it came to drawing fouls. Harden was just stronger and could do other things too.
I'll never forgive Kevin Willis for passing up the shot that would've given Clyde a quadruple double.
Kevin Kunnert: In the mix for one of the top 15 centers in Rockets history. Dream Moses Yao Sengun Mutombo Howard Asik Capela Paultz Cato Nene Collier Theis Feitl Kunnert
A couple of players the Rockets gave up on that eventually became decent NBA players were Craig Ehlo and Terry Teagle. PS: It would be fun to list all the former Rockets players that went on the be head coaches. The list is pretty long. But, that’s for another thread.
This is a game I remember despite us still losing...but Marcus Thornton going nuts in the fourth quarter to send the clipper game to overtime was really cool
I will never forget Martin because he brought us Harden. Forgettable: poverty Kevin Martin AkA Jeremy Lamb (who was also in the trade)
