It’s still amazing that the Red Sox basically salary dumped Mookie Betts…. In a market that they could have afforded him. Seems like the Dodgers got a semblance of reprise for the Yordan trade with this result. I guess the Astros lost out on the final years of Nolan Ryan (and the HOF plaque), along with JD Martinez, and they did trade Hader… but I hope we’ll never see a true Yordan/Bagwell/Betts-like fleecing in reverse.
