I hate that Meyers is playing so infrequently given how good his quality of contact has been this season.

Ultimately he just has to hang with em and keep putting good swings together, the results will follow. Unlike Dusty, I don't think Espada will keep a guy part time for long if he deserves to be starting.

I am curious just how long the leash will be with Abreu. I get that nobody wants to eat that much money, but there's only so long you can tolerate completely non competitive AB's.

 

Get Jake some reps at 1B !!

I'm kidding of course, since his glove and wheels in CF are what makes him special, but 1B is better than sitting on the bench.

Bregman at cleanup looks out of place in that lineup...

And Abreu anywhere looks even more out of place!

I've said this about Pena for a year or so...if you want the deepen the lineup, it's Altuve/Pena/Tucker/Yordan/Diaz/Bregman/Chaz/1B/CF
