Astros played well vs Atlanta last year. Hopefully Arrighetti's first start was mostly nerves. Royals play well at home too and KC plays us well. Brown has pitched so poorly, he probably is tipping pitches. Hopefully the Astros spotted it on film and he's adjusted. France just needs to settle down and duplicate his first 2 starts -- 6-ish IP / 3-ish runs. Offense needs offense. The early-early season of bad luck appears to have vanished lately. Bullpen is decently rested. Perhaps the MMP foolishness has ceased to. Astros continue their journey to .500 and win the series !!
After the Dodgers, Yankees and Rangers, the Atlanta Braves are my next most disliked team. Primarily because of that Tomahawk chop cr@p they do at home. Its annoying and irritating. Ought to be banned.
Maybe but he also can't locate worth a damn. I argued with others on here last season who preferred Brown over France even though his results were much worse. "His ceiling is higher" but how often is he actually reaching it? Not often. On paper he has better "stuff" than France but he tends to mentally collapse and lets inning avalanche while France is able to work his way out of trouble better.
Apparently, Abreu only needed two days rest for a likely 2-week injury. Surely he's being forthcoming about everything (wink wink). Singleton should be playing, especially against RHP. His OPS jumped 300 points recently while getting regular AB's. Jose is batting 8th, so at least there's that.
Abreu playing without earning it. Singleton has earned it recently. Bregman not a cleanup hitter. Especially right now. He needs to be hitting 6th. I don’t like Dubon in CF. I do like Dubon in the lineup.
