I'll push back on this once again.

You're telling me at 4-23 with a supposed talented team that we need to wait for 4-26 until we "panic"?

Espada sure as hell ain't being given a leash to go on a 19 game losing streak before we panic.

Good news is nobody is running away with the division, not yet at least. Rangers just lost a series to Oakland at Mimic Maid leaving the Astros only 3.5 back of first place. Stros were 3 games back basically the entire season last year. Astros have also likely played the toughest schedule.

Outside of injuries, Hunter is the team's biggest problem -- even worst than Abreu due to Singleton, Caratini, Diaz and perhaps Belt being other options. His egregious play has the team down insurmountable deficits and he's killing the bullpen by leaving damn near a full game's worth of innings remaining to fill. This hurts the team not only days he pitches, but the next 1-2 days too.

The offense will not continue going 1st-to-3rd and 2nd-to-home at a league-worst pace. I haven't researched if it's worst, but it's gotta be incredibly low. It's amazing how difficult advancing runners are for us right now. No way that lasts much longer. Astros are top 3 in the AL in OPS with Tucker, Bregs, and Chas all struggling. Nobody else is playing overly above their head besides Altuve (1.100 OPS).

There's no reason to panic. There is reason to make changes.

    Lineup:
    Altuve
    Pena
    Tucker
    Yordan
    Diaz
    Bregman
    McCormick
    Abreu
    Dubon

    Rotation:
    Javier
    Blanco
    France
    Bielak
    TRADE for Vet stop gap

Just an FYI on Belt, apparently he has something with one of his knees that is keeping everyone away.

The bright spot is.................it can't get any worse than it is right now.................right?? Lets go Astros, it's a new day and let's beat these pansy ass rangers tonight!!!

ps - the beat down Brown took yesterday was horrific, I was 100% sure he was going to be lights out this year, he has the stuff, but I think he has an issue between the ears.

Only took Espada 2 weeks to see what this armchair fan saw clear as day. Smh.
