My brothers and sisters in Christ, I apologize. I fear since I've gone to Greece, that I've failed my fine city of Houston. This losing is my fault. I will commit seppuku now or Sudoku. Whichever is easier.
You mean LOSE-NOW? Nah, seriously though... I'd ****ing love him back. Crane won't have the balls to do it though. He's too SCURRED.
I agree, SP injuries have hurt, but outside of 3 starts that hasn’t been the issue yet, but it’s coming. I’m not sure how the pitching holds up until they all expect to be at full capacity(after all star break).
Man..............that just sucked last night. I had such high hopes after the first and then they imploded. What is the ETA of Lance? Last I heard was after the all-star break but to be honest I am not expecting much from him, he has spent more time on the IR then actually playing. Man this sucks! I think the Astros wont fire anyone just yet, at least get some starting pitching back and see how we do but at this point no one on the team seems to want to step up outside of Yordan and Diaz, its like there asleep at the wheel...................this sucks man
Wait, seppuku is suicide... F*ck that just sacrifice a chicken or wear a gold thong like Jason Giambi bro.
IF it ended, it ended when Dusty gave the ALCS to the Rangers. However, it's not over, just got to wash the stench out.
Over reaction Thursday. It's not looking good now but not as bad as it seems. Javier is back to a sub 1.200 WHIP, sub .200 BA, sub 3.50 FIP starter. He's a 5 IP starter, but behind JV and Framber the bullpen will usually be rested. Blanco is becoming a weapon at the back of the rotation. JV and Framber both look to return before May and Urquidy was pitching well in the spring and could be close behind them. France has a 2.42 FIP so has been unlucky. Even Arrighetti's 4.21 FIP shows he should have had a better fate last night and it's just his 1st MLB appearance so let's see how he rebounds. Martinez and Scott look to be solid replacements for Maton and Stanek if not Neris. Montero is doing better. We know Hader, Abreu, and Pressly will be fine. Reinforcements in McCullers and Garcia could be top level trade deadline reinforcements. Tough 6 games ahead vs Texas and Atlanta, but after that 11 vs Wash, Cubs, Rockies, and Guardians. And JV and Framber could be back for those. Let's see where we are on May 3rd. 11 and 7 gets them within 1 game of 500.
