Yea Biden has to wear Afghanistan. He was in charge. Trying to pin it on Trump is some pretty thin gruel.
State Department and DoD screwed the pooch on the plan. Biden likely got reassurances from both that their plan would work. What would Trump do, if he got re-elected and kept his promise TO THE TALIBAN, the plan would have failed and he would blame the generals. The Rs would get behind Trump and that would be that. With the shoe on the other foot, the Rs are making Biden 100% responsible for the failure.
At the time that the decision was made to get the **** out of Afghanistan, Trump. Trump's administration had Oct-Jan, to start the plan. At the time that the plan was executed, Biden. Trump agreed to a plan with the Taliban, which included a timeline to get out. Obviously Trump consulted with no one but his big fat stupid brain on this one. Biden, to his credit, has accepted responsibility for the failure. Trump would not have.
and who would you blame? As if you wouldn’t blame Trump. The boss man wears it when stuff like those goes pear shaped.
I think a lot stuff is unfairly pinned on Biden and many of those on the Right have tried to p blame stuff that happened under Trump’s watch on Biden. The withdrawal from Afghanistan is on Biden even if Trump was the one who agreed to the withdrawal. That the Biden Admin didn’t surge troops initially to secure Kabul and the Airport was a major mistake. That they believed reports that the Afghan government would rapidly disintegrate was a major failure of intelligence. As much as I’m critical of Trump the failures of the withdrawal are almost exclusively the fault of the Biden Administration.
we're talking about pulling US troops out; if the afghan government was completely weak, why would we pull troops out? break your trumpian shackles and the truth will set you free,
Keep pounding the square into the circular hole. I say that both Trump and Biden are to blame. You, in your black or white world, put 100% of the blame on Biden. The parameters of the Afghan exit deal are all on Trump. Trump cut the deal with the Taliban and not the official government of Afghan. The Taliban was not someone that the US should have trusted to make a deal with ... but Trump did anyway. The date of the exit, on which Trump gave the US's word, was too aggressive. Biden inherited a **** deal that Trump negotiated. The Afghan exit could have better executed and that is on Biden.
