No, I think there are more kids and adults who are comfortable coming out with their genderqueer identity today than even 10 years ago. More people means more total events. I have never not known a time when queer people were not targeted with hate and violence for their sexual behaviors. AIDS was blamed on homosexuals. Matthew Shepherd was dragged to death in Wyoming for being gay.
I disagree. I think the combo of a political party not having policy positions finding a scapegoat combined with social media algorithms creating humans who doom scroll about the evils of trans people all day is contributing to the increased lack of personal safety for trans people.

You do realize that Transgender Visibility Day is always on March 31 and has been since 2009. And shock of shocks... Easter doesn't always fall on March 31 . It did fall on March 31 in 2013 but somehow no one including you had any issues. But if you want to start ramping up your outrage machine, Easter falls on the same date in 2086.
