Can't wait for Javier to last two innings, throw about 100 pitches and give up 10 runs tomorrow.

Framber, Pena, Montero all look exactly like they did last season. Piss poor.

He's not ace material. You can't have a mental headcase be your #1. We're running it back with the same shaky pitching staff and a weaker bullpen.

I think if framer can't get it turned around, we have no shot to win. Would have won last year if he was his old self

Watching the Cubs vs Rangers game on ESPN. Bruce Bochy is a good manager and makes smart decisions. Night and day between him and Dusty/Espada.

I blame it on the idiotic decision to not open the roof. Total BS move.

2017 opening day…. Roof was open, first pitch to Springer was a HR, specialness everywhere.

This is the only time of year where houstonians can enjoy open air baseball weather… Astros and their pitchers need to get their heads out of their ass.

That’s way more disappointing than losing 1 of 162. Folks need to grow up.

Sadly, there is someone(s) that will say anything about anybody, anytime, if you look hard enough.

    Exactly.

I remember being 12 years old and absolutely idolizing Hank Aaron for the fact he never had a scandal, married to the same wife forever, never spoke like he was above regular people… and then hearing him say that he received hundreds of vile and racist letters at his home, that he had people find his phone number and call and threaten to kill his wife … that his car was followed home several times…. All because he was black and was going to break a record that he broke fair and square.

That happened over 50 years ago - and yet we have assholes and cowards reaching out to a players wife because he didn’t get a hit and is black? I really start to wonder if this whole civilization thing will work.

Rather than posting N-Bombs, why not spend some time with your kids or go for a walk… no game is important enough to hit that level.

    Just really disappointing and disgusting.

Today wasn’t a very good baseball day.
Looking forward to tomorrow and drinking some yankee tears.

The pitching staff is better and the offense will likely be better. Astros were one game from the WS last year despite the most obvious upgrade in league history sitting on the bench. Team just has to get healthy and manage the starters better than last season. Players missing the WBC this year doesn't hurt at all.

    The Astros weren't going 162-0

    The Rangers weren't going 0-162

    Tomorrow is another day.
