After the Junction Jack bs shenanigans, I do believe they've settled on a mascot.

 

This needs to be up near the top after 6 innings of game 1.

I wouldn't put anything past Baker. He was terrible. You can't speak in absolutes. That definitely deserves it's criticism. Not sure why Singleton is even on the roster despite me liking his story. That unfortunately isn't going to win us any games this season. Espada had a bad game but as you said it's a long season.

 

With a ton of talent completely handed to him. He should have won way more

 

You can hate Dusty all you want. He never coached or managed afraid. There’s a reason Espada has not gotten a job offer elsewhere.

 

I wonder how much Abreu not being available weighed on Joe's mind thinking he needed to retake the lead and hit Singleton for Meyers in the 6th?

That's one of the 2 coaching decisions I think were really bad in this game. If it's the 8th or 9th, maybe. If you are down and not tied maybe.

But Meyers is better than Singleton and is also currently hotter.

The other one is the send in the 9th.

Maybe you risk it in a tie game but not down a run in the 9th when you are looking at bases loaded 1 out and Bregman hitting and already had 3 hits off this pitcher in the inning vs runners on 1st and 2nd down to your final AB.

 

Well I don't hate him because I don't know him personally and all accounts are he's a good person. He's just a terrible manager. Way two different things. On to you other point he just managed with arrogance and ego. Certainly not intelligent

On Espada I have no idea. Dusty got let go everywhere he was until he was forced on Houston

 

Dusty also kept Mc Cormick on the bench last year opening day, and would of found a way to of kept Maldy and start him over Diaz.
