Well that was less than ideal. Framber needs to throw strikes. Martinez CAN'T walk a run home when coming in to put out a fire. Dubon is not a burner (70th percentile sprint speed) its tough to get thrown out there when the bases would have been loaded w/ 1 out and Bregman up. Montero simply can't be used in a 1 run game. It's only 1 out of 162 but wasted effort by bottom of lineup. I put this one on: 1) Framber 2) coaching staff 3) Martinez 4) Pressly 5) Montero.
Yeah as a lot have expressed Framber is the biggest disappointment. I think the offense will be one of the best offenses in mlb even though they went silent after the first couple of innings but Framber is a concern. With all the injuries to the starters, Framber continuing to be shaky is not good.
This is the biggest concern....Runs will be given up, it's these long ass stretches where we cannot even generate one run for the majority of a game. Sigh.......
Really trying hard to picture, really trying, this tag was made. I can understand "ruling on the field stands" and not "ruling confirmed". But switch the jerseys (Yankees runner) and he's ruled safe to begin with. If not, it's overturned. Dude's glove looked like it could have tagged Doobie's elbow, but Doobie appears too far passed after it touches the ground. Main problem today was Framber though. He's been struggling since post All-Star break last season. .
