And simultaneously played very good defense. This was special.

Am I the only one who feels we set the screen for Green to far above the 3 pt line?

Like it worked sometimes, but a lot of screens were like 3-4 ft above the 3pt line and off set, allowing the Thunder to easily trap and recover when Green passed out of it. Esp in the 2nd/3rd quarters.

Like right at the 3 pt line or within 1 ft makes more sense. You could definitely see the difference compared to where the Thunder set their screens for J DUb.

Playing like he is now, all Jalen needs is space to allow a running start towards the basket. Therefore, setting picks at the 3-point line and beyond for him makes sense.

When this happens and Jalen gets a head of steam going, other players need to copy Amen and cut towards the basket instead of always parking on the 3-point line

Great pick by Bregman there! Huge DP to keep Frambers pitch count from getting high in the first.

I'm fine with at the 3pt line. The 3-5 ft beyond the 3 pt line when the rest of the team is just standing around felt off.

Man those refs yesterday just loved glazing OkC

I still don't know how Dillon was the only one to get a tech here. Jabari wasn't even looking at Kiddey and Kiddey just grabs his arm and yanks on it, then Dort comes rushing in to escalate after Dillon gave Kiddey a tiny push, which is meant to be an automatic T.

The last 2 min report proves that the whole game was just absolute horseshit refereeing and we need to strap in because it's only going to get worse as we try to chase down GSW.

I prefer it as high as Jalen is comfortable with for max spacing. Easier to recover back in to the paint from the 3 than the logo for defenders. Your logic also makes sense, but an attempt at true max spacing is my preference.

Who knows, maybe extending 5-out to near half-court unlocks some type of new dimension to the game offensively and forces adaptation defensively; or maybe it's just Jalen f'n Green and a precious handful capable of making it work.
