Tell that to the judge if you’re ever caught wiring millions of dollars to an illegal bookie. One is criminal, the other is not. There’s nothing minor about that difference in a criminal proceeding.

I doubt seriously Ohtani is kicked out. The only way MLB is going to punish their bell cow is if he bet on baseball or gets convicted of a federal crime. My guess is nothing happens to him.

MLB won't do anything because the whole country Japan will start boycotting everything American. Most likely Ohtani will bow and say sorry for having bad choices.
Of course nothing will happen, but at the very least, we as Astros fans can have some fun at the expense of dodger (and angel) fans. We should take advantage while we still can before this story inevitably get buried. We stole a few signs during the regular season 7 years ago....but at least our players don't fix games!
