Seemed like the AP voters did their due diligence in voting this year. Jalen Carter and that Eagles DL laid a effing egg during the last half of the season.

Seahawk fans are pretty upset about this. Not gonna claim I watched a bunch of Seahawks football this season, but I feel like Witherspoon went a little quiet in the second half. Coupled with the fact that they didn't make the playoffs, I don't think there was a compelling enough case for him to win.

LA Rams and Kobie Turner have more reason to be upset.

I think Will and the Texans' storyline of going from last to first (in the division) and leading a tangible culture shift as a captain was too strong for the other candidates to overcome.

This makes me laugh at all the haters who were mad we didn’t take this psychopath in the draft last year. Who would you rather have? An elite DE and team captain, with 2 years of great production? Or a head case(albeit with GREAT talent) who was responsible for a car accident who killed a guy? Looks like we made the right choice….

Look I'm glad they drafted WA.

But Carter wasn't responsible for the wreck that killed two people. The lady driving the car was responsible for her own death and the other players death.

Carter had MULTIPLE incidents of being sighted for speeding. He was warned and didn’t care.

So, maybe you're the outlier who doesn't speed. If guys were not let in the NFL because of speeding violations. Grandmother's/father's would be the only people playing in the NFL.

My point stands and I don't think he had any issues last yr.

In Philly? No. However, the lawsuits and criminal case in Georgia are still going on (he may have pleaded in the criminal case). I am sure the Eagles gave him a driver....lol.

I smile every time I hear him at the podium.
He just exudes happiness, optimism, and dedication to this team.
