Astros in hot pursuit of Blake Snell

This is how I kinda saw this going down. Snell has elite stuff and while his actual production hasn't always matched up he can be elite when healthy. Montgomery is solid but unspectacular and he's the best of the bunch remaining in FA and that's not valuable enough to spike payroll again.

Of course, she's a very talented actress. She's put a lot of work into that...it's not cheap.
