His current vibe reminds me of when Harden was very young and we realized he was an upcoming star. He's finally unlocked his bag to use his freak athleticism and shooting advantages. As he improves his body/athleticism and skillset even more he'll just get better with time. Once he can become consistently unstoppable offensively his next step will be learning advanced playmaking reads with low turnovers. He'll start getting ref respect as well,
This version of Jalen is one of my all-time favorite Rockets and it took a whole 3 weeks. He should be proud of himself as should Rockets player dev. They either birthed or manifested a star depending on how you look at it. I want to “like” so many posts ahead of me in this thread, so I shall commence, but I recall one from @Mathloom and the “Harden vibe” comment both dots.
Tonight he hit a lot of step back 3's. He can get those shots off all day long but he just can't make them most of the time. It will be interesting to see if he can really put in the work in the off season on the jumper
I'm glad the Jalen guys who've been quiet and not had anything to cheer about for 90% of the season have their chance to gloat because we all know 5 games makes an 82 game season. I fall into the group of being amazed by what he's doing recently, whilst still waiting (praying) for him to do this during the first 41 games of a season regularly before believing he's turned a corner. The literal wording in my signature before this season started is predicting this exact scenario we find ourselves in.
