I rarely make threads but it seems like the Rox medical team is full of clowns and idiots. Tari Eason last played first week of January but only got medical opinion to get surgery this week, 2 months after he got injured. He had been experiencing pain for a long time but the clowns at the medical team never bothered to think he might need xrays and checkups before this week?

Now we got a guy playing with back problems by the name of Alperen Sengun.

It's not like we're playing for anything anymore and even if we were an ass blasting c/o Minny (who is a horrible match up to begin with) is not worth aggravating Sengun's back.

Sengun is a true warrior and he is ok playing thru the pain. The Rox should have the foresight to shut him down for his own good. I also believe the recent drop off has to do with Sengun injuring his back. Sengun is clearly the Rox prized player, he is the only one who got All Star mention. The Rox medical team should be all over him at the first sign of pain and discomfort and this **** has been going on for months. Are they waiting till Sengun can't get out of bed before they shut him down and do a checkup? Wtf!!!

I dunno what the issue is with Alpi's back back whether he needs surgery or just bed rest the Rockets should be taking a look at it instead of suiting him up while injured.

I'm glad to see worthless Jock Landale finally getting some burn. Sengun needs some down time. He's clearly not exactly right right now.

How would you know how severe his back pain is? Sengun should keep playing as long as the Rockets have a technical possibility of making the play-in.

Why? Do you die if we don't make the play in? Play in is like 2 extra games I don't give a crap about it.

Back pain doesn't come outta nowhere. Playing with a sore back and getting hit by other players is a recipe for disaster. Wemby breaks a nail and Spurs give him a minutes restriction for 2 months, Rox should be more careful regarding their star center Sengun.

This is a ridiculous take. If Sengun's injured he won't play. The fact that he continues to play says that he's healthy enough to play. But you pronounce he should be shut down - based on what? Are you a medical doctor who examined him personally?

With Tari, they said it was more of a pain management thing and they tried to rehab his leg, but the pain kept coming back which is why they are opting to have surgery to take care of the problem for good. There's nothing nefarious going on with the Rockets medical staff.

Just because you can play doesn't mean you are healthy enough to play or should be playing.

    Do you know Isiah Thomas?

You are right, the Rox medical staff said it was a pain management thing when it turned out to be a benign growth and not "pain management". Those are two separate things pain management means it's just in your head if you can withstand the pain but benign growth means his leg was ****ed up and the doctors on the team didn't have a clue. That's just proves they misdiagnosed or underestimated Tari's injury and how do you know the same thing isn't happening again?

I don't know enough about the extent of his injury and pain to have an opinion on this.

Most of don’t. But I see the look on his face. I know how he played before. The upside of playing him is next to nothing. The possible Downside is huge. Shutting down is maybe too much at once but he definitely needs a rest. He is slightly better after the break but I am sure he will be worse as he plays more.

I suspect his injury is muscular rather than disc related. If that is the case I doubt he sustains any long term damage from playing through it. If it is disc related he 100% should sit out. I too question the Rockets medical team and their ability to properly diagnose issues based on the way they screwed up so bad with Tari. Hopefully they do not cause any long term damage to Alpi by letting him play.

Given that the season is effectively over, I agree, shut him down to ensure his injury doesn't become more serious. Keep him shut down till either he's 100% or the season is over, doesn't matter to me.

Boo hoo. Poor Alpi. The Rockets don't appreciate his greatness and want to run him into the ground.

Regardless whether his injury is serious or not you are the stupid one if you can't see the season is done and playing him doesn't really do anything.

We already got one case of Rox medical team misdiagnosing Tari Eason, they ain't exactly putting player health over the team record.

Imagine telling Tari it was just pain when he actually had a growth on his leg.

I like that he is toughing it out.

He and Jabari need to get stronger, tougher and more physical. Udoka has called them both out all season long for physicality. It starts here, and Adams will help in the off-season and in practice.

Alperen's defense against the Suns was magnificent. We know he has all-star-level offense, so I am not worried about that. Shooting and strength this off-season. Keep grinding.

It is not just medical staff, I have doubts that the coaching staff listens to medical advice all the time.....

Like with Coaching Challenges, the Coach rather listens to Alperen or players......

No need to shutdown but 5-6 Game rest should be welcome.

Landale who sucked all season seemed to be progressing.....
