Damn, I love Whitmore even more after that bump. Cam and Amen have that you're not going to beat me attitude that our team needs. FVV brings it as well and Alpi had it, but needs to regain it. Tari definitely has it as well and we need him back. I'd love to see Cam and Amen average 30 mins a game the rest of the year. Blending Amen between PG/SF and Cam between SG/SF would do the trick. Give Jalen 20-24 mins to see what he can do with them.
I think Cam is literally one of those players that will never get rattled by anyone. He gives no fks who you are, he's going to play the same either way
It sucks we have to wait till next season for Cam to play next to Eason... because when that happens it's going to be absolutely electric transition play. Green / Cam / Amen / Tari / Jabari is the small ball lineup I really want to see play.
Shots going up no matter what lol. But seriously I actually think Cam along with his tunnel vision lacks the confidence to make accurate passes. He was hesitant to give it to Green because if he puts it in a weird spot it gets stolen.
If the Rockets were in a playoff run, it's 100% Cam should stay in his bench gunner role to give them the best chance to win. Since the playoffs no longer matter, he needs to play with starters to learn how to mesh with others and be effective when he isn't shooting.
Like the fighting spirit, but that tunnel vision needs to be gone by next season if he wants to be taken seriously.
As much as I enjoyed the Harden years of making the playoffs and contending, as great as he was, we all knew Harden did not have the Clutch factor during the playoffs... I'm ready for someone to come with some ballz and not be afraid of taking big shots. Does he need to reign it in a bit and focus that energy into better production? Yes. But I for 1 am happy we got a young pitbull on the team.
not surprised. 19 year old who isn't gonna back down from anything. You don't see much of that these days.
