    Check it out -- because the Stros play a day game tomorrow, we could be tied with the Cubs for the WC BEFORE the Cubs even play tomorrow night.

    Assuming we win, of course.

    What a huge psychological boost it would be to the guys to see themselves on top of the WC standings -- even if it is only for a few hours. (The 'Spos are pitching some stiff against Maddux and the Cubbies tomorrow night.)

    Right, but Clemens isn't pitching against Maddux. I said the 'Spos -- as in the Expos -- are pitching a stiff against Maddux tonight.
