Terrified Baylor loses at West Virginia tomorrow…that would be viewed as a “bad loss” but damn winning on the road in the Big 12 is a nightmare
Haven't been able to watch games recently, but I see Ja'Kobe Walter has been putting up Jalen Green shooting numbers. Consequently, his draft stock has dropped to mid-late lotto on some boards. I'd still consider him with the Nets pick. Looks like he's getting to the line, shooting decently inside the arc, solid measurables. His attempts are still up, so coaches must trust him to keep firing. Hope he works out of the slump. But for a guy billed as a good shooter, he's been shooting 26% on 3's in 2024, so it's been a while. What's up with that?
Baylor’s defense tonite was as good as I’ve seen it. The way they responded with effort in the second half vs the Coogs. I’m hopeful that game shook them up and refocused them. We will see I guess. Bears have a **** ton on offensive talent. If they play with effort on the other end they’ll be a tough out. Lesser teams than this have made a run.
I hope Missi stays at Baylor for another year and doesn't follow the path of the last few UT bigs where were young, uber-talented and raw, then have done basically nothing in the NBA: Kai Jones, Jericho Sims, Greg Brown, Jaxson Hayes...you could even throw Mo Bamba into that list
Over the last few games Missi has absolutely obliterated his draft status. I assume he’ll be back next year. Just bad.
Well if a team never misses, there’s not much you can do except stick around and hope they eventually miss.
