Crazy how Harden has demanded a trade and gotten everything that he wanted each time. OKC -> HOU, Harden got a big deal and ability to be "the man" HOU -> BKN, Harden got to team up with KD and Kyrie to form a superteam BKN -> PHI, Harden got to reunite with Morey and play on another contending team with an MVP candidate Embiid PHI -> LAC, Harden got to return to his SoCal home and play on a roster that clearly needed a vet PG You may not like his methods, but they are effective. He is the all time greatest trade demander.
ive held my tongue for as long as i could, listening to you blurt out nonsense about james harden and his impact lets me know you know nothing about the game of basketball The truth of the matter is james harden is very underrated and has been for the past 3 years when he didnt make a single all-star/all nba team.. only because of politics of his contrevesial heliocentric style of play the truth is harden in 2024.. IS CURRENTLY SPORTING A IMPACT LEVEL THAT IS TOP 12 IN THE LEAGUE.. by several advanced metrics Harden in my opinion is being blacklisted intentionally by the nba and their tv partners to keep his free-agent value low. But all of the metrics show that harden is clearly an all-star this year over the likes of paul george, over jaylen brown, over dearron fox, over banchero, and yes OVER STEPHEN CURRY Funny how i hear the media claim that lamar jackson is the james harden of the nfl. Laughable Lamar Jackson can "choke" every year and still go on to win multiple mvp awards. The nfl has way more integrity than the NBA. here is the true all-star selections without media bias. reserves starters
Clippers are now the 1st seed in the West after tonight’s game 31-8 with a +7.7 point differential after making Harden the PG and moving Russ to the bench…a 65 win pace 1st in offensive rating and 12th on defense during this prolonged stretch as well
I’d love to see what their defense ranks in non-garbage time minutes I’ve noticed so many games where the Clippers will be up 20+ points with 3-4 minutes left, put in the 3rd stringers, and it ends up being a 9-10 point win Clippers had held the Celtics to just 60 points at the end of 3 quarters, and were up by 30…it ended up being a 115-96 win
Every single time his whining has worked. Only when he becomes an ineffective player will his demands cease to work.
Will be intresting to see who the clippers choose to give a max to between either Paul George or harden Based on this season the logic would say it’s harden
Harden has always been incredibly skilled with one of the best bbiqs in the league. But he is not physically dominating, which hurts him in the playoffs. Also, his style of play is not highlight friendly and he's moody, each of which make the league, refs, and fans disfavor him. It's hard to get over those when people expect championship winners to be role models.
My guess is George gets the biggest contract out of the 3. Harden agrees to something similar to Leonard.
Lol it’s crazy how true this. But the reason is because that’s how good Harden is when he wants to be which is why teams give in for him.
their defensive rating excluding garbage time is 8th, according to cleaningtheglass https://cleaningtheglass.com/stats/league/fourfactors
cool site. it also says that they are #1 at point diff since nov 17th (when westbrook went to the bench) - 1 point ahead of OKC and 2 points ahead of BOS. fwiw
They should give Westbrook the MVP award. His volunteering to go to the bench is by far the most valuable thing a player has brought to the team.
Harden's a bum. He can continue putting good regular season numbers, but the fact he'll quit at any time makes him a turd. Great stat padder tho
He quits mostly when he feels like his team is cr*p and can't keep up or his co-stars don't perform as expected (embiid, KD, paul's injuries; Irwing covid/political crap). On Clippers, he has two co-stars playing well in contract years, so there is a chance he'll be motivated throughout playoffs this time. Then again, little baby may be in town during play-offs... I mean breaking the clipper's curse and his own curse of bad playoff play is an intriguing story line.
I'd say the coach is the one likely ensuring the egos are stroked just right. Can't say the same about Klay Thomson and Steve Kerr.
