He can play any position in the secondary. He’s white so they will automatically want to move him to safety, even though he’s one of the better corners and athletes in this draft
I just used the Simulator ID. The write up says he is a CB who looks like a safety. Perhaps that is where it's from.
This is a defense heavy draft I like. Trade down from 23 to 26 because there are three payers I like at 23. Pick up 89. 26. Kool-Aid McKinstry CB Alabama - Great pairing with Stingley 59. Ruke Omorhoro DT Clemson - Raw with upside 86. Cedrick Gray LB North Carolina - SWARM guy 89. Calen Bullock S USC - Looks solid if not spectacular. 123. Braden Fiske DT Florida State - Massive 127. Tanor Bortolini OC Wisconsin - I like big guys from Wsconsin
This is a continuation of a draft following Splash FA signings at DT (Madubuike) and DE (Danna). Trade back for 2025 TB 1st and up in the 3rd and up to the third from a 4th. 27. Kool-Aid McKilley CB Alabama 59. Cdrick Gray LB North Carolina 71. Calen Bullock S USC 90. Ben Sinnott TE Kansas State 127. Blake Corum RB Michigan While long shots, pick up gap players in the 7th, UDFAs and FA cuts after Spring Training.
This is a draft if we use Splash FA signings on Offense: Think Derrick Henry RB and Mike Evans WR. 23. Byron Murphy II DT Texas 59. T'Vondre Sweet DT Texas 86. Cole Bishop S Utah 124. Austin Booker Edge Kansas 128. Cam Hart CB Notre Dame
I just like this sim. 23 Chop Robinson DE/Edge Was 9th on Bruce Feldman's freak's List - he said: "He had 10 TFLs and 5.5 sacks last season, and will be even better this year. The 6-3, 254-pound junior is a little bigger than Parsons, and almost as fast. He clocked a 4.47 40 this offseason and ran a quicker shuttle, 4.22. He also broad-jumped 10-7 and bench-pressed 400 pounds." 59 T'Vondre Sweat DT Sweat's size and strength, hallmarks of his college career, translate well into the pro game. As a run-stopper, his capacity to absorb double-teams and maintain gap integrity will be invaluable for teams facing run-heavy offenses. Moreover, his knack for batting down passes and collapsing the pocket, even without elite sack numbers, indicates a player who can impact the game beyond statistical measures. Teams in need of bolstering their run defense will likely view him as a major asset from day one. 86 Cole Bishop S Height: 6 - 3 | Weight: 200 lbs | RAS: N/A Cole Bishop is one of the best safeties in the nation. He's a do-it-all talent who will line up everywhere, from single-high to two-high to the line of scrimmage. His production reflects the fact that he's often everywhere the ball is. He has good size at 6'2" and 205 pounds and fits the modern NFL very well. He's fast to react and able to handle his own in the slot against receivers and tight ends. Bishop has a firm Day 2 grade and should be a starter in the NFL. - Ian Valentino 124 Jaylen Wright RB Wright runs with violence; he’s capable of thrashing through tacklers, and Wright has the natural balance to withstand contact. He keeps his pads low and consistently falls forward. Unlike most backs his size, he has the lateral movement and stop-start ability to make defenders whiff. He has breakaway speed in the open field. Made Bruce Feldman's Freak's List - ranked #24. He wrote " The 5-11 Wright is up to 200 pounds but displayed some serious juice this offseason, clocking 23.6 mph in practice. Beyond that, Wright vertical-jumped 44 inches and did a 10-8 broad jump." He gets low and rarely absorbs significant contact, and he shows a nice blend of quickness and patience, maximizing his blocking. He is a natural playmaker, at his best with the ball in his hands. He shows good vision and good explosion upfield once he plants his foot. Wright has lateral movement skills and enough speed to threaten big plays. He’s excellent in the passing game, capable of flexing out as a receiver and creating mismatches against linebackers, and he’s a solid back in the screen game. Fits a zone system, can sift through oncoming traffic and explode through tiny creases and cutback lanes. Elite, darting stop-and-go acceleration. Dangerous in the open field. 128 Theo Johnson TE 6'6" 259 Johnson has reliable hands and shows the willingness to make catches in traffic over the middle. Although Johnson is more of a possession target than a field stretcher, he fiercely competitive demeanor and run-after-catch ability make him a major threat in the middle of the field. Johnson runs like a wide receiver, explosive off the line of scrimmage with exceptional quickness and body control for his size. His prototypical size, length and reliable hands push him into the developmental prospect category Good strength and effort to run through arm tackles. Soft hands and good concentration level with obvious toughness in congested areas. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=Theo+John...i=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ratvWL0bM4
Although op never posted link to simulator he was using guessing it's PFN's. Traded back a few times to pick up extra late round picks so I could take multiple bites at Edge Rusher, which I think is a much bigger need than most here think. Took several of my sleepers. 23. Jared Verse EDGE Florida State 59. Ja'Lynn Polk WR Washington 86. Ben Sinnott TE Kansas State 153. Khristian Boyd DT Nothern Iowa 157. Christian Jones OT Texas 177. Sione Vaki S Utah 178. Gabe Hall DT Baylor 186. Jalyx Hunt EDGE Houston Christian 218. Rasheen Ali RB Marshall 222. Nelson Ceaser EDGE Houston 256. Kamal Hadden CB Tennessee
Really like your first three picks. Believe Polk could be really good. I also love Vaki. He's super versatile and a pure football player, should be an awesome ST guy as well.
Thanks. Odunze gets most of the love but Polk is right there with him in importance on that team. Thought hard about Roman Harris too. Sinnott's not a sleeper per se but undervalued by most imho. Wanted to take a RB earlier (4th) but someone overdrafted my sleeper/undervalued rb Ray Davis (Kentucky) by 20 spots or so which made me pivot to Ali late. Both Vaki and Hunt are extremely new to their positions but have shown excellent potential. Vaki had a 2 year missions trip as well. Wanted a guard somewhere but the ones I like were taken early.
