He is the real baby Melo mixed with Anthony Edwards.

He has that black hole scorer mentality of Melo coupled with Melo's ability to score all over the court. Whitmore also said Melo is his hero and he patterned his game after Melo. But at the same time unlike Melo who avoided contact he possesses Ant's fearlessness, athleticism, aggression and 3 pt shooting ability.

At 6'6 he is also between Melo and Ant, in fact his body type is like a 6'6 Ant including his athleticism.

I mean in his very limited ball handling duties meant to minimize mistakes and turnovers he's still a less than one ratio of assists to turnovers.

Maggette is a good comp, except Cam is a lot more agile.

The head down dribbling and strength reminds me of Drexler -- similar level of skill/ raw talent at 19 yo IMO.

Anthony Edwards! If Cam could play 30 minutes a game like Anthony in his rookie year, Cam could average 17 points per game

This is where I'm at, especially since I don't like comps (everyone is unique). CW is very exciting player to watch develop... really an extra treat this season watching him and Amen grow.

True, though Cam can probably at least be good at on-ball defense like Jaylen Brown is. Not sure how good he'll be at team defense off the ball.

Carmelo Anthony with a better three point shot?
I know he gets bad press but he was an excellent player in his prime

He reminds me a bit of EG with his strength on drives, but if EG had the athleticism of a young Josh Smith.
