They're actually going to do a smart thing here and draft a QB in the 1st as Dak's replacement, and let the next year play out with Dak as the likely starter to begin the season. Any slip up from him though/an injury will cause the rookie take over and/or they'll let Dak walk after the season if he doesn't produce. Trey Lance remains the backup. Maybe the noise behind him will make Dak step up next year
Anytime Billy Kilmer is mentioned I always think about him trying to run out of bounds after scrambling around and the time he tried to do it against the Oilers and Brazile closed line him in the Dome and knocked him out of the game. His helmet, with the face mask with one bar, wrapped around the back of his head. PRICELESS!!
I always think about the fact that Kilmer was the guy that fumbled the ball that the Vikings Jim Marshall picked up and returned 66 yards for...a safety because he ran the wrong way and then threw the ball out of bounds.
