I think even in a vacuum Cam is just a much better scorer at this point. As in if these two took identical shots, open 3's, open mid ranges, drives against the same help defense, Cam would score more. Cams form is more consistent by eye test and by numbers, and his body can take more contact against defense.

The only thing stopping Cam front replacing Jalen is because of ball handling duties. FVV simply cannot be the one running the play for every possession, there needs to be a secondary ball handler and Cam is not there yet.

    Jalen's a dog man.

He's in the gym 24/7 man.

He's just a gym junkie man always working.

Or so we kept hearing early on.

Funny how that lie died down awfully quickly.

Im sorry you cant just assume this it wouldn't be fair to Tari also if we're assuming Tari would still be better because of defense lol

The guy I was replying to was adamant Jalen Green is better than Tari but I think it was not that easy to determine because of the role Tari was given and they are opposite players .......

And there is a big chance 3 and D players are more worth more on the market than scorers that have a down year to begin with.

At least they are easier to trade.

Not disagreeing with you but pick 21 isn’t likely to get a player of maxey potiental is my point.

Isn't shooting something a person hone in the summer.

With the tight schedule after IST, there doesn't seem to much in between gym time to make meaningful corrections.

Maybe during the off week of all star break, he can use that time to recalibrate. Work with a Sullivan / shot doctor to see something can be adjusted in the short term.

why? I understand wanting to get value out of green but to think a pick 21 is value for him is pretty laughable to me

The main issue to consider is the impact of using Jalen as a sixth man on his trade value. The risk is also associated with the possibility of not receiving any form of compensation, as opposed to the possibility of receiving a late first-round draft pick for him.

I would prefer keeping Jalen on a moderate contract comming off the bench.

My fav starting 5 atm would be
    FVV-Dillon-Tari-Bari-Sengoat

    Bench:
    Ame/Holiday-Cam-Green-tate-green

We need shooting and a BU for Segun. Uncle Jeff ist not a C.

How bout Hartenstein. Hes a worker, excellent rebounder and a good passer. would be awesome getting him back in rockets red.

    Trade Dipo, Tate..

what do you mean on his frame? guy is 6'4 and is skinny as a stick. 15 lbs is barely noticeable at his current weight and height

all of them were stronger than him. he doesn't have to be as quick as he was too, strength with his even slowed down quickness is more than enough to blow by and retain position. he falls way less then before but he still is too weak to finish through contact

I would pack Bari and Green + fillers for Zion/Morant/Edwards/whoever wants out and is Allstar already. Then promote Cam and Tari. Sell the hype.

We have seen some flashy plays from jalen as we always do but none of the good sequences he had was aligned with the rest of the team. Jalen seems to need heroball in order to be effective and get into the rhythm which kills the rhythm of the team.

Cam looks like a similar type of player but at least he looks better than Jalen already as a rookie, especially for defense and hustle. His ceiling looks a lot higher to me.

I'm not happy to say this, but it looks like we need to move Jalen in order to make room for Cam and Tari.

he good. but Tari better. And they have same function on the floor so they will block each other. I would sell high on Bari and put Tari in his place

They do not have the same function on the court and will in no way block each other.

    Hard disagree there.
