    I'm using Spotrac and the date is incomplete and dated. I just found Jimmie Ward under contract through 2024. The contract info for the NFL is much harder to find than MLB data as is roster status.

    Spotrac shows him available rather than under contract this year. I think they are running into Dead Cap from the Jets Contract overlapping a new Texans one year contract.

    Add Nelson. Nobody on the team has more interceptions, and he's 4th in tackles.

    Yeah, Stingley has one more, but half as many tackles. Tackles matter. I just hate seeing a good CB walk when we already have a weak secondary. Unless, of course we know we can snag a better one in FA or draft.
